PROTEC 500 is an EN 1891 and NFPA G Rated Aramid Abseil rope with a Technora® cover. It is essential for all Rope Access professionals who require a rope with outstanding heat-resistant properties.
PROTEC 500 is made with a Technora® cover, which has a decomposition temperature of 500°c (932°F). For added safety, the hi-visibility “polyester” markers will melt/fuse if exposed to temperatures over 250°c (482°F), providing visual and tactile evidence of high temperature exposure.
