A Nylon mooring rope will gives high stretch in the standing part of the rope providing shock absorption to protect your hardware. However, when used in conjunction with the Nor'Easter, this low stretch, high strength and highly abrasion resistant Mooring Pennant exactly where needed - at the choke, virtually eliminating friction generated failure. This low stretch configuration combined with superior chafe resistance where needed is ideal for all craft, from runabouts to mega yachts.
